Chronic Disorganization (CD)

Yes, it is possible to be Chronically Disorganized. Can you answer "Yes" to any of these questions? If so, you may be Chronically Disorganized.
- Have you been disorganized most of your life?
- Does being disorganized undermine the quality of your life on a daily basis?
- Have you "tried everything" and nothing seems to work?
- Do you expect to continue being disorganized without outside help?
WHAT IS CD?
Chronic Disorganization (CD) encompasses a variety of issues faced by our clients. Some may have ADHD and not know it. Some may have suffered a traumatic brain injury or other neurological impairment. Some may have lived through the Depression. Others may have experienced a life trauma that rendered their former organizing systems useless. Still others may never have learned organizing skills at home, at school, or at work. Regardless of the origin, CD can be addressed with the help of a trained Professional Organizer.
HOW WE CAN HELP
Let's Get Organized can help by designing and implementing unique and creative organizing systems that work for you. We feel it is essential to get to know you, to find out how you think, feel, and process information, in order to suggest solutions that you can maintain. There is no one-size-fits-all, now-and-forever organizing answer; getting and staying organized is a customized process. It's a process that may also require ongoing support from an outside party: your Professional Organizer.
You can be confident that working with Let's Get Organized will be a gentle and loving experience. We know there may be deep emotions tied up in your "stuff," or you may have felt judged, ashamed, or embarrassed in the past. We are compassionate, non-judgmental, and patient, allowing you to set the pace and make the decisions. Know that if I could reach out from the computer and give you a hug, I would!
